DAVID PLUMB

Thanks to  all to allowing me to serve as a board member, my earliest memories of hunting are riding on my fathers back to duck blinds on the back waters of the Mississippi River in Minnesota in the mid 1960’s and my passion for hunting has only grown since then.

I have been fortunate to hunt in 14 states, Canada, Mozambique and South Africa. My travels have reinforced my belief that without organizations like SCI and our state chapters that hunting would be under even greater threat than it is already. My great passion is waterfowl hunting and I’ve taken 29 species of ducks, 8 species of geese and tundra swan. I’ve taken whitetail, black tail and mule deer along with pronghorn and black bear in the states. I’ve also taken 25 species in Africa.
