My father taught me to shoot and handle guns in my early teens, but my hunting career didn’t start until I began tagging along with my husband and our two sons on local deer and dove hunts when the boys were little. I loved being out in nature with my family and was hooked when I shot my first Whitetail in 2004.

Since then, I have traveled and hunted on four continents and took a variety of big game and birds around the world. These experiences and becoming a Life member of SCI and of the Alabama Chapter changed the course of mine and my husband’s lives forever.

My favorite trips are when we combine hunting and sightseeing in faraway places that I had only read about before, taking in all the different cultures, cuisine, architecture and of course those adventures that only come to the traveling hunter.  

It has been an honor to serve on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Chapter knowing that we are doing our part to support wildlife conservation and ensure future generations will be able to enjoy the same outdoor lifestyle that me and my family have.
